Latur: Numerous candidates and parents who arrived at exam centers for the NEET-PG exam scheduled for Sunday were unaware of its postponement and expressed frustration over the alleged irregularities plaguing exams conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). They emphasized that these issues were exacerbating their already high levels of stress and tension.
The Union Health Ministry announced on Saturday that NEET-PG was being postponed as a “precautionary measure” in response to recent allegations concerning the integrity of certain competitive exams.
The Ministry stated it was conducting a comprehensive assessment of the robustness of the NEET-PG entrance examination processes, managed by the NTA for medical students. The new examination date will be announced at the earliest opportunity.
“We traveled 150 kilometers to Nanded for our daughter’s NEET-PG exam, only to find out upon arrival that it had been postponed. This is extremely stressful for my daughter and us,” said Sunita Narwade, headmistress of a government-aided school in Beed district, to PTI.
“The postponement of NEET-PG has left me feeling depressed. I was eager to take the exam, having prepared for months. Students across the country are feeling insecure and losing faith in the exam system,” said student Sakshi Shitole.
