Jr NTR Contributes ₹50 Lakh Each to AP and Telangana Flood Relief Efforts
In response to the severe flooding that has impacted the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, actor Jr NTR has generously pledged ₹50 lakh each to the Chief Minister’s Relief Funds of both states. The devastating floods have particularly affected regions such as Vijayawada and Mangalagiri in Andhra Pradesh, and Suryapet, Khammam, and Nalgonda districts in Telangana.
This morning, Jr NTR took to social media to express his concern and solidarity with those affected. He stated, “I am deeply saddened by the recent floods in two Telugu states. I pray to God that Telugu people recover from this calamity soon.” He further added, “On my part, I am announcing a donation of ₹50 lakhs each to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Governments to support the relief measures undertaken by the Governments of the two Telugu States.”
On the professional front, Jr NTR is preparing for the release of his upcoming film, Devara Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva. The highly anticipated movie is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 27, and features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
