Over 5.36 Lakh Candidates Set to Appear for Telangana Group-III Exams; Preparations in Full Swing

Hyderabad: The stage is set for the Telangana Group-III exams, with over 5.36 lakh candidates expected to appear for the test across 1,401 examination centers statewide. The exams, scheduled for November 17 and 18, will be conducted in two sessions on the first day— from 10 AM to 12:30 PM and 3 PM to 5 PM, with a single session from 10 AM to 12:30 PM on November 18.

Ahead of the exams, Telangana’s Chief Secretary, Santhi Kumari, chaired a video conference with district collectors and police officials on Wednesday to review the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the exams. Kumari emphasized that the Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has put in place extensive measures to ensure the exams are conducted in a secure and efficient manner.

During the meeting, the Chief Secretary urged the district collectors to replicate the successful management of the recent Group-I exams, stressing the importance of maintaining law and order and preventing any disruptions. She further instructed that senior officials personally oversee the arrangements at each test center to ensure the exams proceed without any hitches.

TSPSC Chairman Mahender Reddy also briefed the meeting on the commission’s preparations. He revealed that detailed guidelines had been provided to district collectors to ensure uniformity in procedures across all exam centers. Reddy emphasized the importance of transparency and efficiency in the exam process, aiming to provide a seamless experience for both candidates and authorities involved.

The Group-III exams are an important step in the recruitment process for various government posts under the Telangana state administration. With tight security measures and thorough planning in place, the Telangana government is determined to ensure the exams are conducted smoothly and transparently.
