The anticipated collaboration between Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and director Surender Reddy has encountered delays due to Kalyan’s political and governance commitments. Producer Ram Talluri has confirmed that while the script is ready, scheduling Pawan Kalyan’s dates remains a challenge. In light of these delays, Surender Reddy is reportedly considering working with his previous collaborator, Ravi Teja, known for their successful film Kick and the less successful Kick 2.
Surender Reddy, keen to maintain his directorial momentum following the flop of Agent, is exploring alternative options. With the delay of Ustaad, director Harish Shankar also turned to Ravi Teja, leading to the upcoming film Mr Bachhan. Ravi Teja, known for his efficiency in completing projects, currently has only one film lined up after Mr Bachhan, a project by writer Bhanu Bhogavarapu. If negotiations proceed smoothly, Surender Reddy may soon direct Ravi Teja, potentially marking an exciting new chapter for both.
