PM Modi Engages US Tech CEOs in Roundtable on India’s Growth Prospects
New York: Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a productive roundtable discussion with the CEOs of prominent American tech companies, focusing on India’s growth potential and fostering bilateral collaborations across various sectors.
The meeting took place at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel during Modi’s three-day visit to the US. It brought together leaders from major US firms engaged in advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and semiconductors.
“Had a fruitful roundtable with tech CEOs in New York, discussing aspects relating to technology, innovation, and more. I am glad to see immense optimism towards India,” Modi shared in a post on X.
Hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) School of Engineering, the roundtable featured CEOs like Google’s Sundar Pichai and Adobe’s Shantanu Narayen.
“Further cementing technology and business connections. PM @narendramodi interacted with top tech leaders in a roundtable hosted by MIT, emphasizing India’s growth prospects and initiatives for collaboration,” the Ministry of External Affairs stated on X.
Earlier, Modi addressed a vibrant gathering of the Indian diaspora at the Nassau Veterans Coliseum on Long Island. His visit follows his participation in the Quad Leaders’ Summit hosted by President Joe Biden in Wilmington, Delaware.
