Prashanth Neel’s Upcoming Projects: A Clash of Announcements
Director Prashanth Neel has left his fans in anticipation as they speculate which project he will commence first among Salaar 2, the film with Jr NTR, or the rumored collaboration with Vijay Devarakonda. The producers of these ventures are reportedly vying with each other to make their announcements.
Hombale Films, the producers of Salaar 2, have already declared their intention to begin filming the sequel to the Prabhas-starrer from June 2024. It is anticipated that, starting from the first week of June, the primary cast members, including Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, and Bobby Simha, except for Prabhas, will join the shoot.
However, Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of the Neel-NTR project, are poised to make their announcement soon. On May 20th, coinciding with Jr NTR’s birthday, they plan to release a tantalizing poster of the film, along with the commencement date of its production.
Mythri Movie Makers is reportedly urging Prashanth Neel to initiate filming of this project from the first week of July, coinciding with Jr NTR’s expected completion of his commitments for War 2 in Bollywood. It remains to be seen which announcement will take precedence and which project of Prashanth Neel will take flight.
