Icon star Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ debuted in Bollywood. The film will break the record there before its release. It seems that the rights of this movie have been sold at a record price, shaking the Indian cinema market. As part-1 was a super hit, there were huge expectations for the sequel. With this, Pushpagadi’s target has also fallen on the global market.
It seems that famous Bollywood distributor Anil Thadani has bought the theatrical rights of the movie ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ directed by Sukumar for Rs.200 crores. It can be said to be an all time record deal in Bollywood. It can be said that this is the first time that a non-Hindi film is getting such a huge hit in Bollywood.
There is a tough competition for the Pushpa movie in OTT as well. There are reports that Netflix has quoted up to Rs. 250 crores to get this movie anyway. If this is true then Pushpa will be top in digital rights as well. Previously, for the OTT rights of a RRR movie, Rs. 170 crores. It can be said that the market level has also increased in the same range as there are huge expectations for Pushpa’s film across the country. The movie will release on August 15 this year.
