Rashmika Mandanna Spreads Positivity After All-Night Shoot for ‘Thama’
Actress Rashmika Mandanna shared a heartwarming and spontaneous message with her fans after completing an all-night shoot for her upcoming film Thama. In a video posted on Instagram, Rashmika appeared visibly tired but full of warmth, sending out cheerful vibes to her followers.
“Hi guys, good morning. I know it’s super random. I just shot for the entire night, hence the red eyes, but I just wanted to randomly drop this message saying, a very, very good morning to you,” Rashmika said in the video. She continued, “I hope you have a wonderful day, and here’s me throwing a bit of positivity your way. Even if you don’t need it, you just got it. Biggest love, biggest hugs, and big, big, big kisses.”
The caption accompanying the post read: “A random reminder for you to smile and have a freaking awesome day! EVERYDAY!”
The actress, who recently celebrated her 29th birthday in Oman, had earlier revealed she was back at work. In a previous post from April 9, she shared a view of the night sky, writing, “Shooting nights for the next couple of days… So the only posts and stories you’ll get of us is of either the moon or the camera lights or the stars.”
In March, Rashmika also gave fans a sneak peek from the sets of Thama, sharing a behind-the-scenes image of director Aditya A. Sarpotdar overseeing a shot.
Thama, produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik under Maddock Films, is part of the studio’s successful horror-comedy universe. The film follows a passionate historian who delves deep into ancient manuscripts and uncovers terrifying secrets tied to vampire folklore. As the line between myth and reality begins to blur, a dark, emotional conflict unfolds in the heart of a haunted town.
The film boasts a strong cast including Ayushmann Khurrana, Paresh Rawal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and is co-written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Fulara.
With Rashmika’s charm and the promise of a gripping supernatural narrative, Thama is already generating significant buzz as one of the most anticipated horror dramas of the year.
