New Delhi: A recent report revealed that three out of four Indian B2B (business-to-business) marketing leaders are currently leveraging generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) applications in their marketing strategies. These applications have proven beneficial by accelerating content creation (43%), achieving cost efficiencies (39%), and enhancing overall productivity (38%).
LinkedIn, the professional networking platform, highlighted a significant increase—142 times globally—in members adding AI literacy skills to their profiles, with marketers leading this trend. AI has emerged as the fastest-growing digital skill among Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) worldwide, based on recent updates to their LinkedIn profiles.
Sachin Sharma, Director of LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, India, emphasized the increasing importance of collective confidence in navigating the competitive B2B landscape and engaging larger audiences for sustained brand recognition.
The report, based on a survey of over 2,000 B2B marketing leaders worldwide, also noted that despite challenges in reaching buyers due to competing demands, 94% of Indian B2B CMOs underscored the pivotal role of relationship building in achieving success. Moreover, 93% expressed optimism about their teams’ capacity to drive revenue in the coming year, with 85% anticipating budgetary increases.
