Raghu Rama Krishna Raju: From Rebel MP to Proactive MLA
Firebrand politician Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, popularly known as RRR, was the first to turn against then Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his government despite being elected as the Narsapuram MP from YSRCP.
Over the past five years, RRR has fiercely criticized government policies and publicly condemned Jagan for his ineffective decisions. At a time when leaders from TDP and Janasena were contemplating opposing Jagan, RRR emerged as a beacon of hope, inspiring many leaders and the public to voice their dissent against the Jagan government.
Despite attempts by Jagan and his administration to intimidate him through numerous cases and police action, RRR remained undeterred, inspiring other politicians to stand against the ruling party’s injustices.
Following his lone battle against Jagan, RRR joined TDP and contested from the Undi segment in the 2024 elections. He won as MLA with a significant majority over the YSRCP candidate.
As an MLA, RRR wasted no time initiating various developmental activities in his constituency. Even before government intervention and fund allocation, RRR began drainage works and addressed other critical issues in Undi through public partnership.
RRR’s prompt and proactive actions as MLA have garnered widespread appreciation. His transition from a rebel MP to a dedicated MLA continues to inspire many to follow in his footsteps.
