S.S. Rajamouli: India’s Foremost Director Prepares for Next Prestigious Project with Mahesh Babu
Hyderabad: S.S. Rajamouli has solidified his position as India’s leading director. With blockbuster films such as “Baahubali” and “RRR,” he has captivated millions and brought international acclaim to Indian cinema. Following its success, Rajamouli directed “RRR,” another epic featuring stars N.T. Upcoming Project with Mahesh Babu
After the success of “RRR,” Rajamouli is set to collaborate with superstar Mahesh Babu on what is anticipated to be the most prestigious and expensive film ever made in India, with a budget exceeding Rs. 1000 crores. The movie is currently in the pre-production phase, with Mahesh Babu preparing for a new look for his role.
Preparations at Aluminium Factory
According to Deccan Chronicle, Rajamouli has leased a 9-acre plot at the Aluminium Factory in Serilingampally, Gachibowli. This site, popular among Telugu filmmakers, will serve as the hub for workshops and other pre-production activities. It includes a 4-acre farmhouse, providing a secluded and serene environment ideal for acting workshops and script discussions.
Rajamouli has a history of utilizing iconic locations for his films. He filmed the “Baahubali” series at Ramoji Film City for four years before moving to the Aluminium Factory for “RRR.” This location has also been used for several major films, including “Pokiri” and “Aravinda Sametha.” Set construction for the new film has already begun and is expected to be completed by the end of June. The shooting schedule will span two years and include various global locations.
The project is being produced by KL Narayana, with Oscar-winning composer M.M. Keeravani providing the music. With such a stellar team, expectations are high for this film to become another global success.
