“During the interim bail period, Mr. Kejriwal will be permitted to engage in campaign activities for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Nonetheless, the two-judge bench presided over by Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Datta has stipulated that following the expiration of his bail term on June 1, the Aam Aadmi Party’s leader must surrender to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on June 2.
The Supreme Court has granted interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, in the case related to the Delhi liquor excise policy. This decision comes as a significant relief for the Chief Minister, extending his bail until June 1, coinciding with the final phase, the 7th phase, of the Lok Sabha Elections.”
