Hyderabad: During a review meeting on July 26 at the Dr. BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat, Revanth Reddy, Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, directed the BC Commission to submit a detailed report on the new voter list. He indicated that this report would guide the decision on scheduling the gram panchayat elections and emphasized the importance of expediting the election process.
Earlier in the day, at the passing-out parade for new firemen, Revanth Reddy highlighted the state government’s recent achievements in employment. He noted that the administration had issued appointment letters to approximately 30,000 unemployed residents within 90 days of taking office in December last year. Furthermore, he assured that the government plans to recruit an additional 30,000 individuals before the end of the Congress government’s first year in December.
Revanth Reddy also revealed that notifications have been issued to fill 30,000 more positions, including 11,000 teaching roles under the DSC, along with vacancies in Group-I, II, and III state services, and other government departments.
