Title: National Leaders and Ministers Congratulate Team India for Historic Win Over Pakistan in Champions Trophy

Article: A wave of congratulations poured in for Team India from across the political spectrum after their remarkable six-wicket victory over Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The win saw India qualify for the semi-finals, with Virat Kohli’s brilliant century leading the way.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah hailed the victory as “electrifying” and congratulated the team for living up to the expectations of millions of cricket fans worldwide. He also wished them all the best for future matches.

BJP President J.P. Nadda lauded Kohli for his impressive century and praised the entire team for their collaborative effort. “Congratulations to the Indian Men’s Cricket Team on this remarkable victory against Pakistan! Kudos to Virat Kohli for his impressive century,” he wrote.

Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya also expressed his delight at India’s dominant performance, with a special mention to Kohli for becoming the fastest to reach 14,000 ODI runs.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan called the victory “spectacular” and said that it had filled every Indian with pride. Similarly, Union Minister Piyush Goyal praised Kohli’s match-winning century and India’s all-round performance.

Chief Ministers from various states joined the celebrations as well. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath congratulated the team for the “Virat” victory, while Tamil Nadu’s M.K. Stalin called it a “clinical performance”. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee expressed her happiness at the win, and Assam’s Himanta Biswa Sarma praised Kohli’s leadership on the field.

Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma termed the win a “golden victory”, and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal echoed the sentiment, calling it a “great win”.

The celebrations were also reflected by several Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, who called it a “masterclass in teamwork and resilience,” and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, who praised both Kohli and Kuldeep Yadav for their contributions.

Other political figures such as Bihar’s Tejashwi Yadav, Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera, and various state ministers from Karnataka, Odisha, and Madhya Pradesh joined in congratulating the Indian cricket team for their spirited performance.

With this victory, Team India has not only clinched a crucial win over their arch-rivals but has also created a historic moment in the ongoing tournament. The nation is eagerly awaiting their continued success as they march ahead in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
