In response to these swirling rumors, director Venkat Prabhu has stepped forward to provide clarity. He unequivocally confirmed that MS Dhoni does not appear in the film. While Prabhu acknowledged that there were initial plans for Dhoni to have a cameo, logistical challenges ultimately prevented its inclusion.
Prabhu elaborated that “GOAT” does feature a cricket match between the Chennai Super Kings and the Mumbai Indians.
