Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy Receives Warm Welcome Upon Return from International Tour
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was greeted with enthusiastic support upon his return to Hyderabad following a significant tour of the United States and South Korea. At Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), a lively reception awaited him as Congress workers and supporters presented shawls and bouquets in a gesture of appreciation.
In a post on his X handle, the Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to Congress leaders and workers for their warm welcome. Later today, he is scheduled to inaugurate Cognizant’s new campus in Kokapet, a move aligned with the state government’s strategy to boost investments and generate employment opportunities.
During his recent visit to the US, Revanth Reddy secured a landmark Rs 31,500 crore investment deal. The agreement, which involved 19 investment deals and memoranda of understanding (MOUs), is projected to create approximately 30,750 new jobs in Telangana. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) reported that the delegation, including IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, engaged in over 50 business meetings and three roundtable conferences across major cities such as New York, Washington, Dallas, and California.
The visit garnered substantial support for key state initiatives, including the development of a Future City and an AI City, as well as the rejuvenation of the Musi River. The delegation also emphasized Telangana’s potential as a strategic partner for American companies seeking alternatives to China.
