Vijayashanti Showers Praise on Kalyan Ram, NTR Jr at ‘Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi’ Pre-Release Event
The pre-release event of the much-anticipated film Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi, starring Kalyan Ram and veteran actress Vijayashanti, was held on a grand scale in Hyderabad. Directed by Pradeep Chilukuri and featuring Sayee Manjrekar as the female lead, the film is scheduled for release on April 18.
The highlight of the evening was Vijayashanti’s heartfelt speech, in which she reflected on her journey and shared admiration for the legendary Nandamuri family. “I have great admiration for senior Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and have learned many things from him,” she said. Speaking about Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr, she added, “Junior NTR is an extraordinary actor and works very hard for his films.”
Praising her co-star Kalyan Ram, she said, “He was extremely cooperative throughout the filming. The bond between Kalyan Ram and Junior NTR is like that of the mythological brothers Rama and Lakshmana. Audiences have embraced both of them wholeheartedly, and I hope they continue to act in many more great films. I sincerely wish that both brothers always remain happy.”
Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi sees Vijayashanti return in a powerful role, which she described as emotionally intense and rooted in maternal strength. “This film is dedicated to every mother and woman. I took up this film in response to requests from my fans. When director Pradeep narrated the story, I liked my role and gave a few suggestions. I felt confident that the film would be a super hit.”
She also credited editor Tammiraju and the censor board’s positive feedback as strong indicators of the film’s potential. “We were all very happy with the response from the censor board,” she added.
Vijayashanti emphasized the emotional core of the movie, stating, “A mother always strives for her child’s well-being. If the child strays, she guides them back onto the right path.” She concluded by calling the film a complete commercial entertainer that highlights the struggle between a mother and her sons, promising audiences a unique and powerful climax.
With powerful performances, emotional depth, and family dynamics at its heart, Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi is expected to resonate strongly with audiences when it hits theatres this April.
