During his tenure, YS Jagan attempted to ridicule Chandrababu Naidu by playing the song “Jayamu Jayamu Chandranna” in the assembly, mocking Naidu’s efforts on the Polavaram project with a video of men singing the song at the project site.
Today, the situation has dramatically reversed. Chandrababu Naidu has returned to power, while Jagan, with only 11 MLAs, is unable to attend the assembly.
In a turnabout move, Naidu publicly criticized former irrigation minister Ambati Rambabu during a media briefing on Polavaram. Naidu played a recent press clip of Rambabu admitting his lack of understanding of the complex Polavaram project, using the footage to mock both Rambabu and, indirectly, Jagan.
This unconventional approach from Naidu, known for his professionalism, highlights the perceived negligence of the YCP government towards the Polavaram project. Naidu’s sarcastic critique has since gained significant traction on social media.
