Fatehpur: PM Modi Claims Congress Aims for Just 50 Seats in Lok Sabha Elections
Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Friday that the Congress party has set a modest target of winning only 50 seats in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, referring to it as ‘Mission 50.’
“The entire Congress family is now focused on saving face and securing a minimum of 50 seats. The ‘cycle’ has also punctured,” Modi remarked, alluding to the Congress’s alliance with the Samajwadi Party, whose symbol is a bicycle.
Modi claimed to have specific information about the Congress’s strategy, saying, “I predicted that the ‘Shehzada’ would flee from Wayanad and lack the courage to contest in Amethi. I was proven right.”
He further criticized Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav, describing them as ‘shehzadas’ who share the same political failings. “Both engage in appeasement politics, protect mafia interests, promote corruption, and practice nepotism. I urge you to vote for the BJP to ensure the development of your area,” Modi said.
The Prime Minister also asserted that the INDIA bloc, a coalition of opposition parties, is disintegrating and that their supporters are becoming disillusioned.
Reflecting on his tenure, Modi recalled that when he assumed office in 2014, Akhilesh Yadav, then Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, did not cooperate on developmental initiatives. “Now, the duo of ‘two boys’ is being relaunched, but their efforts have already failed. They have booked tickets for their holiday abroad,” he concluded.
