Ananya Reddy, ranked third in the All India UPSC Civil Services Examination, has lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crimes Police Station, alleging the presence of multiple fraudulent social media profiles across platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Telegram, impersonating her identity.
Moreover, Reddy has accused certain entities of utilizing her identity to promote mentorship programs, potentially exploiting financially vulnerable aspirants.
The complaint was officially lodged on April 27.
Hailing from Mahabubnagar, Ananya Reddy achieved a remarkable feat by securing the third position in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination 2023, on her inaugural attempt.
The UPSC 2023 results were officially announced on Tuesday, April 16, via its designated website. This highly competitive examination comprises three phases: preliminary, mains, and interview, with results unveiled successively following the conclusion of each stage.
